About Us
Alpha Delta Pi is proud to be the first secret society exclusively for women. Founded on May 15, 1851, at Wesleyan Female College in Macon, Georgia, our sorority is rich with tradition and sisterhood. Alpha Delta Pi sisters strive for excellence in philanthropy, academic performance, and campus leadership. In keeping with our motto, We Live for Each Other, our members have found a place for support, shared values, and personal development. Opportunities abound for the sisters of Alpha Delta Pi, and we look forward to sharing them with you.
About Us
We are the Beta Beta Chapter of Alpha Delta Pi, located at the University of Tennessee Chattanooga. Our chapter was founded on UTC’s campus on May 21, 1926. As Adelphean women, we believe our sorority is more than a symbol or ritual. It is a way of life. We embrace every woman’s uniqueness and support each other’s goals and dreams. We encourage our sisters to do their best in whatever they undertake. We strive to be confident, diverse, and devoted members of our chapter while giving back to our campus and community.
Values
We place high focus on our values, working to enrich our lives: Sisterhood, Service, Knowledge, and Character. We seek to live by these values everyday, in everything we do.
Our Motto
Our open motto “We Live For Each Other” expresses the true spirit of fraternity and by living this motto our lives will be enriched by true friendship and unselfish service to mankind.
