Alpha Delta Pi is proud to be the first secret society exclusively for women. Founded on May 15, 1851, at Wesleyan Female College in Macon, Georgia, our sorority is rich with tradition and sisterhood. Alpha Delta Pi sisters strive for excellence in philanthropy, academic performance, and campus leadership. In keeping with our motto, We Live for Each Other, our members have found a place for support, shared values, and personal development. Opportunities abound for the sisters of Alpha Delta Pi, and we look forward to sharing them with you.
We are the Beta Beta Chapter of Alpha Delta Pi, located at the University of Tennessee Chattanooga. Our chapter was founded on UTC's campus on May 21, 1926. As Adelphean women, we believe our sorority is more than a symbol or ritual. It is a way of life. We embrace every woman's uniqueness and support each other's goals and dreams. We encourage our sisters to do their best in whatever they undertake. We strive to be confident, diverse, and devoted members of our chapter while giving back to our campus and community.
We place high focus on our values, working to enrich our lives: Scholarship, Service, Sisterhood and Self.
Our open motto "We Live For Each Other" expresses the true spirit of fraternity and by living this motto our lives will be enriched by true friendship and unselfish service to mankind.
Our national founders established the Adelphean Society at Wesleyan Female College in Macon, Georgia on May 15, 1851 -making ADPi the first secret society for women in history. Every day we work to leave a positive impact on society as our sisters have done before us.
